Our schools are struggling
With a budget of nearly $1 Billion in spending student appitude has diminished. Test scores are low, students are frustrated, and teachers are becoming overburdened with administrative demands that detract from teaching the basics.
The time is now for new leadership to bring the focus of school back to the fundamentals of education, allow students to focus on their academic studies instead of being bogged down in the minutia of ideological word play, expand opportunities for students in preparing for careers in the real world through career and technology programs, and ensure parental and students rights are respected with clear and transparent communication.
